Office Assistant – JOB CLOSED

Our client is a local family owned and operated business located approximately 30 minutes from Warragul in the South Gippsland region that specialise in civil construction and earthworks. Due to rapid growth and business expansion, they are now seeking a motivated and resourceful Office Assistant on a part-time basis.

Offering flexibility and work/life balance in this challenging but exciting role, the key responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to the Director and other office staff
• Ensuring the company is meeting the compliance standards for operation
• Calculating and collating data for the payroll summaries to be handed to the Payroll Officer
• Following up with employees to ensure timesheets have been filled out correctly and all of the relevant information is included
• Managing the company website and social media pages
• Maintaining records as required
• Conducting plant risk assessments
• Researching weekly tenders that may be suitable for the company to apply for
• Collating and preparing information for tender submission
• Ensuring the staff and company are meeting OHS compliance eg: SWMS tickets
• Following up on documents to ensure that the company is meeting accreditation and third party auditing standards
• Researching, collating and assigning of job costs
• Ensuring the truck log books meet the NHVR standards

Ultimately, our client is seeking forward thinking applicants that have administrative experience. Any experience in a similar role will be advantageous, however not essential. In return for your efforts, they offer you the opportunity to work approximately 15 to 20 hours per week on the days of your choosing.
